Install problem on DVD6 (dont work) ??

Can you be more specific? Describe your setup and tell us what's happening -- just saying it don't work doesn't won't help you.

Are you hetting read errors? Have you tried burning it again? Have you tried mounting it with Deamon?

I'm running OsX 4.11 dual 1.8 G5. Disc 6 does not install and all the other install discs seem to have worked as omni shows up in Logic 8 but I have not tested it out because it's asking for the challenge. I used unrarX (also tried stuffit) to open the .iso's and toast 9 to mount them. When installing Disc 6 the installer says there were errors installing the software and to try again so I tried to install everything again but the same thing happened. I also tried to drag whats on disc 6 to where it should be installed. Are there specific instructions from someone who has installed this and has it working? And is this supposed to be fully cracked?

I just opened it in demo mode and that seems to be working but disc 6 still won't install...also had an issue with the pace interloc extensions (had to uninstall then reintall them from the ilok website) and some .kext extensions. These issue affected Reason 4 and logic both would not open, but I fixed that problem. Pleeeeease help!

BTW...i keep getting about 6 error messages when I restart my Mac about those .kext extensions. It says they cannot be used but i'll probably just deleted them manually.

Ok, first off -- I'm not a Mac user.

But judging from the way the disks are made the actual application is on disc one, the remaining are the sound libs.

So it doesn't sound like it's badly cracked, rather that disc six is corrupted somehow. *looks at AiRISO*

And oh... you did apply all the updates before using the keygen?

.kext stuff I can't help you with -- sorry.

I managed to unpack all the disks, so I think that means that the downloads worked - otherwise they wouldn't unrar. Despite authorising as it's supposed to, about a third of the presets don't work as Omnisphere says the source files are corrupted.
Does anyone else get this? I thought I'd mention this in in case anyone is thinking of downloading this huge fileset.
It sounds damn good - cleaner and deeper than Absynth, although the sounds are mostly in that sort of moody area.

I've had similar problems. Here is the workaround for disc 6-

Manually copy the contents of disc 6 sound source content and paste them into the the Sound Source Folder on your computer. I also would check all the disk against all the Sound Source folder as a few soundsources did not install even though the installer showed no errors.
FYI, after you have installed DVD1 one, you can bypass the installer all together and copy the soundsources to the HD manually.

Finally,
Install ALL of the patches and updaters. This will reconcile any patch directory issues.

Great synth, but I'll be damned if I can authorize for my Mac. I installed the entire business (with disk 6 workaraound, i.e. manual installation of file), ran all the updates (there are three, correct), then attempted to authorize. No matter how many times I try it, it doesn't work. I finally gave up (after 10 hours spent on the installation, mind you!) and just resigned myself to demoing the app for 4 days and deciding whether to buy it ($500. ouch). Has anyone been able to authorize this ON A MAC?

MAC AUTHORIZATION SUCCESS: I ended up getting it to work by using the keygen to generate a bunch of responses (interestingly, they were of various lengths!) and trying them one after another until one of them worked. Now I can try the synth at my leisure and buy it IF I like it.

I hava little problem. There are some noizes (like a resonator), when i'm playing tunes... What should i do?

I cant seem to get the update for the Omnisphere_Patch_Library_Update_1_0_2 to work???

Everytime I try it I get the message

''An error occurred while trying to read the source file; The filename or extension is too long.''

This is really furstrating as this update needs to be installed to make the keygen work!!!

Any ideas guys???
