Issue

If you purchased and downloaded Creative Suite 4 Master Collection for Windows from the Adobe Store between 9 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Tuesday, October 14 and 6 p.m. Pacific Standard Time on Thursday, October 16, you received an older version of the software and not the final version. For example, if you launch Photoshop CS4, you see a Stonehenge splashscreen.

No other versions of CS4 Master Collection?whether available in shrink-wrapped retail boxes or on volume licensing media sets?were affected.
Solution

If you have downloaded the software without installing it, please delete the files from your system. You will then be able to download the corrected version to replace it.

If you have already installed Creative Suite 4 Master Collection, you must uninstall the software. Otherwise, when you download and install the final version, you will see an error message and the installation will stop.

To uninstall the software, do the following:

* On Windows XP, open the Windows Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs. Select the product that you want to uninstall, click Change/Remove, and then follow the onscreen instructions.
* On Windows Vista, open the Windows Control Panel and double-click Programs and Features. Select the product that you want to uninstall, click Uninstall/Change, and then follow the onscreen instructions.

What do i do ith three folders; DVD1, DVD2, DVD4, and a MSinfo file? the folders have r10, r77, r57, r23 r59, r44, a zipped file i can't open and a sfv file

The setup.exe does not work for me!!!
When I click on it nothing seems to happen (on Vista)

and if i launch it fron my hard drive it creates a file called "ahmbed.gz"

Did you have any idea? I have no adobe software previously installed...

I'm having similar problems, my setup won't work... also I'm not exactly sure how the crack works.

To install you don't use setup.exe

This is how you install it. (or how it worked for me anyway)

1. first get software like alcohol 120%.
2. extract the dvd image files acs4dvd1 file and then the one from dvd 2 and so on.
3. drag the four files (acs4dvd1 and the other 3 similar files) into alcohol 120%.
4. in alcohol 120% right click on the first dvd file there and then go to mount to device and select your cd/dvd drivr and click it.
5. Open my computer and it should say adobe cs4 production premium disc 1 or something like that where any disc you would put in your computer would come up. Click on it and a window will come up asking if you want to insall adobe production premium. click ok and follow the promps.
6. When it asks for you to put in disc 2 go into alcohol 120% and righ click on the second disc there and mount it like you did with disc one, then go and click ok in the install screen.

Hope that helps also the when it asks for a serial put one of these in.

Does anybody know if all of the replicated acs4DVD rar files and the acs4cont rar files are necessary?

I assume thats why the download took so long, I seriously have 20 of the same acs4DVD1 rar files.

Could I delete them without messing up the program?

Problem solved: you can also borrow a setup.exe file from another adobe product.

But there is still another problem of all adobe cs4 suites (not this torrent only!!):
dynamic link doesn't work properly and you can't export form premiere because Media Encoder is a stand-alone software now...
If you have cs3 installed, don't update! Before you have to check this bug has been solved
