I am not able to find the crack folder inside the installer. Neither is the PLP key there or any other installation key. Please help.

Candiesgalore, you are not alone. I can't find any crack or install key. If it is hidden in the TBE.txt file then please stop making your txt files so damn cluttered with random characters. A helping hand would be appreciated.

Found it, you have to Explore the DVD once it is burned/mounted and the crack directory and everything else is there.

I can install the program, but when it comes to activation, it falls down. When prompted, I point the application wizard to the .dat file, it says activation complete, then loops back to the start of the activation wizard when I try and start matlab!
Please help

I think it includes symbolic toolbox, as well as other toolboxes. I saw it in the installer but haven't tested it yet so canot be sure though.

Sorry guys. I just figured out what the deal is. This release is complete but not all toolboxes are compatible with 64-bit Windows. So if you install this on 64-bit Windows not all of the toolboxes will be installed. On a 32-bit Windows all of the toolboxes are installed.

ARE U GUYS SURE THIS DOESNT HAVE VIRUSES IN IT? I DOWNLOADED THE OTHER R2008b, which says "(its working)" and it was PACKED WITH VIRUSES. Can anyone run McAfee or Norton antivirus on it and see if its clean?

Why are the crack key 20 numbers and the one youre supposed to submit 25 nubers? Were are the remaining 5 numbers? Sorry if the question is dumb, not used to this..

Hmm. observed that the key im supposed to submit is an "activation key" for my license 25 numbers and the key in the crackfile is called "file installation key" and contains 20 caracters. How du I get a "activation key" to proceed?

Sadly doesnt work for me. The licence key and file seem to work but then when I start the program I get the usual windows and in a few seconds the following message:

Unknown Windows exception of type=c000001d was not caught.1 assert/signal failures have occurred; MATLAB will abort in 10 seconds.

and it just shuts down. I installed under Windows XP Home, single machine license, win32 version, custom install of only Matlab 7.7 components otherwise it takes 1 hour to install and at the end the same result.

That error is caused by old processors.
