This is the new version of ESXi. This version is very small and robust. This version of ESXi has a small footprint and is very effecient. Included are 2 ISO images. The first image is the release ISO from VMware. The other image has been modified for HP hardware. This allows for the agents that control Fan speeds and the like. ************************* You can use this license key to get you started: 4209N-0A00P-M6101-021P4-AUT1J Or you can use the 60 Day trial. ************************* But you can also apply for your own license here: https://www.vmware.com/tryvmware/login.php?eval=esxi&t=1 You will need to do the following: - Burn the ISO file to a CD and feed the CD to the server you wish to install ESXi on. - Once you boot from the CD the installer will load. Press ENTER to begin, then F11 to accept the licensing agreement. Next, choose a disk to install to (all data will be erased) and finally press F11 again to start the install after ejecting the install CD. - Once the install is completed, press ENTER to reboot and ESXi will start. - Configure the server from the console. - Connect to the ESX server via the Web Browser. - Download the VI client. - Configure your VM'S!
