I am trying to find a vista that works for me, and the above does not. (no i dont have a dell computer).

No it does not, if you need to use "System Restore" you need to reinstall your Windows ;)

It works fine. I downloaded it on my (XP) desktop, I burned it on a DVD-R with my old Nero 6, and I install its Vista to my Gateway w350a Laptop (made for Vista - w/HDMI and webcam).
Everything went smoothly (two times it asked me if I want to install the unknown publishers' software. Both times I selected 'Install' against its recomendation). It downloaded the Microsoft updates OK.
The only annoyance is that the guy put Sweedish as the main language.

Why remove system restore? It's a nice feature to go back if something gets messed up. I'll search for another torrent...

shanni, how come i only have 29 days remaning? This worked out on my friends comp, and we did the same installations process. The second time :/ i pushed no when it asked me if i wanted to install unconfirmed program. Second time i did install it but it didnt work that time either.
